Caramel Popcorn

Who doesn’t love a movie and a bowl of caramel popcorn in your lap? This is the perfect recipe, so easy and so so delicious. It has become a family favorite!

Caramel Popcorn

2 sticks butter

2 cups of Brown Sugar

1 cup Karo Syrup

Heat on stove until it begins to boil. Let it boil for 45 seconds stirring continuously.

Stir in 1 cup of Sweetened Condensed milk and bring back to boil.

Once boiling starts, remove from heat and pour over 4-5 bags of buttered microwave popcorn. ( make sure all un-popped kernels have been removed)

Stir gently until all kernels are covered

* a couple of tips I have found through the years…

You can use microwave popcorn that is not buttered or air pop popcorn and then the less fat sweetened condensed milk. It tastes just as gooey and delicious, but just a few less calories
